Schedule
1 - 1:30 pm: Storytime: Wonders of the Winter World
The Savage Branch Library will be leading storytime for the younger crowd. What's special about the wintertime? What discoveries lie in wait? Come to participate and learn about the wonders of the winter world.
1:30 - 3:30 pm: Winter Crafts, Games and Paint Afternoon
Continue exploring winter with a snowflake and snowman craft for kids, led by City on a Hill Community Church.
Board and card games will be provided courtesy of Omnihedral Game Store, or bring your own!
A Paint Afternoon (painting: "Baldwin Hall Winter Wonderland") will be led by Savage resident Andi Lecha, an Artist and Interior Designer living in our very own Savage, MD. Growing up in the area, Andi has always enjoyed the beauty of Carroll Baldwin Hall. With her Bachelors of Fine Art in Painting and years of teaching experience, she's got what it takes to lead you step-by-step to creating your very own masterpiece!
Admission ($15) will cover the 2-hour session and the cost of supplies. Limited to 20 participants. Purchase tickets here.
7 - 9 pm: Coffeehouse with Local Musician Matt Arbach
Grab a friend, dinner or some snacks, and a bottle of wine and join us for a pleasant evening of conversation accompanied by acoustic guitar with local musician Matt Arbach. Matt Arbach has been a performer and music teacher in the area for over thirty years. He plays a variety of styles including classical, jazz, rock and folk.
Feel free to also bring board/card games or a winter handicraft to enjoy on this winter evening.
No reservation necessary, but we'd love to know if you're thinking of coming for planning purposes, either via our FB Event or by emailing manager@carrollbaldwinhall.org.
